Hey Friends, I just installed a Music Player on the top of my web-page (Look right now, it is there). I installed this so people can listen to full versions of tunes off of each of my CD's with out having to click on the sample tab. You will also notice that I removed the Music (samples) tab/link as it is no longer needed since I have the player. Another change, You will also notice that the BUY tab has been changed to say DISCOGRAPHY / BUY. You can click on this tab to see a complete list of all of my CD's and information on them. And then if you chose to buy you can click on any of the links of your choosing (CD BABY, Guitar Nine Records). I will also be adding an online store so you can buy right from my web-page.

New News!
Hey folks, I know its been a little while since the last News entry but, I am in the finishing stages of the Rebellious Child CD.... This is the first CD with vocals I have done since my last band PLEX'D .... I couple people have heard samples off of the disc and the feedback has been really good. I have also picked a new drummer for the band line up - Welcome aboard Eric. We will be starting rehearsals for new shows in a week or two.... Stay tuned for show Details. I have also accepted an endorsement with Traveler Guitar. I have been looking for somthing small that I could haul around with me - that would be handy just to keep the chops up, and also maybe something to use for warm-ups before shows - as sometimes its not practicle to grab your main guitars. I have checked out a couple of those necks with strings on them..... and they were ok... but, then I ran across Traveler Guitar. These things are super smalll but, the neck scale is regular scale. It is perfect just to have with me - I can pull it out anywhere and always keep my chops in shape. And it will be great for warmups before going on stage. for before shows.
The New Instrumental CD is also on the way to being finished too. However, I decided to focus on finishing the vocal CD first.... The new Instrumental CD is pretty intense and a HUGE step..... or should I say leap from the previous ones. Its still heavy, Still Melodic but, Way more Intense all the way around. Stay Tuned for details.

NAMM 2011
Hey guys (and Gals), sorry I have not been on in awhile - just extremeley busy. There is some exciting stuff in the makes so stay tuned! Anyways, NAMM 2011 was Great! Great Time! Great weather! I did not want to come back to the frozen Tundra of Minnesnowda. Anyways, I have alot of cool news from NAMM and will be posting some videos.
So Cool Gear Highlights are:
Carvins new V3 mini (lunch box amp). Very cool. What sets this apart from other lunch box amps is. It puts out a full 50 watts, it has an effects loop, it is rack mountable. It is basically a 50 Watt V3 without the MAster section. www.carvin.com
Amptweaker Pedals absolutley ROCK! Do yourself a favor and check them out here www.amptweaker.com I was walking by when I heard them and it impressed me enought to make me stop in my tracks and check them out. James Brown is the designer of these pedals. I wanted to talk to them there but, the booth was really busy and buzzin with people checking out the massive tone from these monsters. And I was busy heading over for something else so, I made sure I grabbed the info and contacted James when I got home. Got my hands on a Tight Drive Pedal. Absolutley Rocks! I am going to be getting a Tight Metal Pedal next.
Lots of gear - so I could be here all day typing but, I do not have the time LOL!!!! I will try to get some Vids up. Saw alot of people and contacts. It was good to see all the cool cats at Carvin, Morley, Curt Mangan, Evidence Audio ect.... My buddy Kenny Segall I never did see - althou we talked on the phone. Ronny North, Augustine and myself ended up hookin up for lunch on Monday After the NAMM show. Oh Stephen, Chris, Vic, it was good seeing you guys.... Thanks for dinner Stephen. Chris - you got soem Great Guitars there.... Alex Sckolnik Trio was cool, Orianthi Rocked the Marriot, Stryper Rocked House of Blues, lots of cool gigs.... Well - off to eat and then in the studio.... New CD's coming soon.

Hey friends, I just wanted to let you know there are two new CD's coming out soon. The first CD is a CD of just good, fun, Hard Rockin songs. Yes, thats right, songs with vocals. I posted a sneek peek and story of this CD right before this - so feel free to check it out. There is also a story if you click the name "Johnny Rock Star" on the Music Page. The Second CD is the next KM CD. This one is going to really rock and really please - so stay tuned. It will be released shortly after the one with songs. Well, I am starting to do alot of studio projects these days (Music for placement in Film, TV, and other placement deals, ect....) so we will keep you posted on that, especially if I land a really BIG deal :-)~ Keep Rockin

Two Sneek Peek Tunes added to Music Page.
Hey everyone, I added two new sneek peek tunes to the Music Page. This CD kinda started out as a joke. You see, I bought this new recording interface and, well, what better way to try out a recording interface than to record something. So, I threw down this fun little rock tune called "Johnny Rock Star" and, well - everybody just Dug (loved) it.... So, I got to thinking, why not record a full CD of this kind of fun, Hard Drivin, Hard Rockin music. I can pull this kind of stuff out all day long. So, what started out as kind of a joke, just to test out my new recording interface and run it threw its paces - has now turned into a full CD of good O'l fun Rockin tunes. The first song is called "Johnny Rock Star" and was recorded using my Carvin DC-127C all Natural guitar with a C22B in the Bridge and C22N in the neck. I plugged straight into my Carvin X-100B Series IV re-issue head (Tubed with 6L6's). I thew one SM57 mic in front of the cab and that is it. No distortion pedals were used - its just the Amp. The second tune is the same but, this time for the guitar solo (just on the solo) I threw a Bad Monkey OD pedal in the chain to add a more gritty naisley type tone for the solo. Well, anyways, Here ya go - I hope you enjoy - please feel free to comment.

Back From NAMM.
Well, I am back from NAMM - what a crazy week.... Caught a headcold just as I went out there but, I kept it/myself numbed up with cold tabs ect.... I was in Cold Tab doped up form LOL!!!! That kinda sucked but, it numbed it/me up enough to where I could still be at NAMM and make the rounds, meet and greets ect.... I actually started feelin good the last day of NAMM..... Is'nt that how it works - start feelin good on the last day of NAMM .
Anyways,.... It was good to see all my friends at Carvin, Morley, Curt Mangan, and Evidence Audio. I endorse and use these products because they are the best.
It was also great to see Steve Martin (thanks for dinner on Sunday night), Vic, Ronny North, Toshi Iseda, Doug (Dug) Pinnick, Shane Gibson, ect.... ect.....
And, it looks like I am going to be picking up a couple more endorsements (I will keep you posted on that). Presonus put out a new recording/live board. It is basically a 24 channel Studio/Live - very cool though. Both those boards are cool. Now if it was only automated - that would be the icing on the cake. But, even without the automation - those boards ROCK and have killer AD/DA converters - plus with all the dynamic processing power - they are a very cool board.... Presonus makes GREAT! gear thats why I use it in my studio..... Also checked out the V-Studio stuff from CakeWalk (SONAR)..... V-Studio 700, WOW! What a cool DAW... a little pricey but, very very cool. I may have to add that at some point.... mmm sometime.... The V-Strudio 100 is also really cool. It is a DAW, Transport control, and a 8 in 6 out interface all in one. But WAIT! Theres more, It also functions as a complete stand alone stereo recorder all by itself. So, you can take it to practice or live show and record.... very cool. Its price is not to bad..... Cakewalk (SONAR) again - great stuff! Cordoba as always has great Spanish Classicals... and the saw these two brothers (15 and 13) just tearin it up ..... very impressive. Saw some great Show too ..... The Coffin Case after Hour Concerts/fashion shows were pretty cool. Augustine Ortiz who plays guitar with me in my band (Also plays with the band Sangra Mal - so check them out - they are a great band) was along again for the trip so that was cool. I have added a couple Vids up on YouTube so check em out. I will be adding more as well as some pics - ahhhh thats when I can find the time.... Gotta run for now....

Carvin X-100B Series IV Re-issue
What a Great! Amp! If you have not tried this amp - I would do so.... NOW! The Carvin X-100B Series IV Re-issue is the best amp on the planet - and I mean the best!. This Amp just oozes Tone..... From the beautiful lush cleans to full blown rippin gain - and everything in-between. This amp does Tone to the max, and it does it so beautifully. Its responsive, dynamic, its got the richest lushest harmonics, sustain, feedback.... Oh! and the tweakability on this amp is amazing.... very tone tweakable but, also very volume tweakable. When you see me live - it will be with these amps - when you here the new CD - it will be these amps. The Carvin X-100B is back - and back better than ever.

Back from NAMM, Band rehearsals back in full swing....
Well NAMM was a blast (as usual). It was a little more rushed this year as we were only out for two of the four days. It was good to see all the Cool cats at Carvin (Bob Chini is the coolest), Morley (again Bill is the coolest), Curt Mangan, Tony at Evidence AUdio ect.... Was also cool to hang out with my buddy Ronny North. Now, that NAMM is over we are back in full rehearsal mode for the band. Working thru the set and polishing up parts and transision ect.... Coming along nicely. I think with about 3 to 4 more practices we should be ready to hit the road.
